Whitman US Roosevelt Dime Coin Album 1946 - 2022

Whitman albums with blue textured leatherette cover are designed to be strong and soil-resistant, with thumb notches for easy window removal. Roosevelt's portrait became the new face of the dime in 1946, with a design by John R. Sinnock featuring the initials JS on the obverse. Mintmarks were struck on the reverse of the coins from 1946-1964, then reappeared in 1968 on the obverse. Roosevelt dimes from 1946-1964 were made of 90% silver and 10% copper, weighing 2.50 grams each. From 1965 to Date, the composition changed to a pure copper inner core and an outer layer made of 75% copper and 25% nickel, weighing 2.27 grams each. All Roosevelt dimes measure 17.9 mm in diameter.
